Latest Suicide Statistics

The Australian Institute of Health & Welfare Report released on 29th September 2021 has finally provided the detail so many of us already know.
1,273 Veterans have been lost to suicide between 2001-2019 – previously reported as 465 Veteran Suicide 2001-2018. Veterans who medically seperate from the ADF are more than 3 times greater at risk of suicide.
Loss of IDENTITY – particularly having that identity removed before being actualised – is the greatest cause of Trauma (Moral Trauma). Heston spoke about this on Sky News – Watch Here.
